The Sunflower
The sunflower with cardinal was a piece designed for a client to give their spouse for a gift.
All of your work is beautiful it is difficult to pick a favorite, but I know my daughter would love this one, as she loves sunflowers. I am going to send this for her to see. June (an online friend of your mother-in-law.)
Grew up in Oxford, Mississippi I would get off the school bus every day after school at the sawmill my father had where he made all kinds of handles. Even when I was in the first grade about the only thing I could do was shovel sawdust or stack blanks. The most important thing that came out of that experience was nothing in this world is free, and anything worth having doesn't come easy. It showed me if I worked hard enough to reach my goals in life, that when I do reach them, it would be worth so much more to me. This is also true working with stained glass, just one piece at a time and then when you're done, you have so much more than art, you have a part of yourself to share with the world.

This reminds me of my grandmother, who passed a few years ago. Redbirds were her favorite.
