- Grew up in Oxford, Mississippi I would get off the school bus every day after school at the sawmill my father had where he made all kinds of handles. Even when I was in the first grade about the only thing I could do was shovel sawdust or stack blanks. The most important thing that came out of that experience was nothing in this world is free, and anything worth having doesn't come easy. It showed me if I worked hard enough to reach my goals in life, that when I do reach them, it would be worth so much more to me.
